Movisi wins the PETA Vegan Homeware Award 2025
We are beyond excited: our modular shelving and room divider system BUILD has been awarded the PETA Vegan Homeware Award 2025 as the best vegan shelving system!
BUILD stands for sustainable, animal-friendly living and is made from a 100% recyclable plastic — entirely free from animal-derived materials and without cutting down trees. The lightweight modules are made primarily of air and connect tool-free, making them especially durable and versatile.
A huge thank you to PETA Germany for this award!
Sustainable materials & healthy indoor air
Our modular systems — including BUILD, U-CUBE, LINK and Q-COUCH — use ARPRO EPP, a performance material made of ~95% air, free of harmful substances and fully recyclable. This supports a healthy indoor climate while reducing resource consumption.
Movisi nominated for the German Sustainability Award
We are thrilled to announce that Movisi has been selected as Finalist for the prestigious German Sustainability Award in the field of furniture. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to exemplary environmental and social performance.
About the German Sustainability Award
The German Sustainability Award (DNP) is Germany’s highest accolade for outstanding contributions to sustainability, honoring organizations that demonstrate exceptional efforts in environmental protection, social responsibility, and economic performance.
Our commitment to sustainability
At Movisi, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our innovative approach to furniture design prioritizes resource conservation, recycling, and reducing CO2 emissions.
Here’s how we are making a difference:
Innovative materials and design
Our furniture is made from 95% air, significantly reducing material use and enhancing durability. Furthermore, by using recycled materials such as recycled PET bottles, we contribute to a circular economy and minimize waste.
Improved recycling capabilities
We are currently working on implementing an internal take-back program, ensuring that our products are returned and recycled within our own processes — promoting a closed-loop system.
Local production and renewable energy
By manufacturing locally in Germany and utilizing renewable energy in our offices, we significantly cut down on our carbon footprint and support local economies.
Sustainable lifestyle promotion
Our modular furniture systems are designed for longevity and flexibility, allowing for easy rearrangement and part replacement — preventing unnecessary waste.
Ensuring quality and safety
Quality, efficiency, safety, and ethical behavior are priorities for our products and throughout our supply chain. Compliance, occupational safety, and environmental protection are essential for building trust in every business relationship.
Join us in celebrating sustainability
We are honored to be recognized for our sustainable practices and commitment to a better future. This nomination motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in sustainable furniture design and production.
Stay tuned for more updates and join us in our journey towards a more sustainable world. Together, we can make a difference.
