Cradle-to-cradle and LEED certified

As for the material, our MOVISI SONIC is a construction of upcycled plastic bottles (PET, minimum post-consumer content 60%) that are felted and heat-bound in a special process, eliminating the need for glue or additives. This innovative material is LEED accredited and Cradle to Cradle certified, denoting our manufacturing process as striving for optimum air and water stewardship, social equity, and recycling efforts. As it now stands, the HUSH material is being tested for post-consumer use in the building sector, where it can be cut into planks for durable, sustainable construction. 

The origin of the PET fibers is certified by an independent institute, and we are proud to have partnered with Impact Acoustic from Switzerland - the only material manufacturer on the market who can trace 100% of their raw material.

Easy to install - HUSH acoustic wall panels come with self adhesive magnets

And is it easy to install? When you order your HUSH system, it will arrive with pre-installed self-adhesive magnets and a triangular spacing tool to aid consistent placement on walls.

Easy to maintain acoustic wall panels

Its through-dyed fibers make the MOVISI HUSH acoustic panels well suited to brilliant, color-fast shades that don’t pale with usage or even aggressive cleaning. Speaking of cleaning, this MOVISI SONIC material is naturally antimicrobial but can be cleaned with just about anything, although due to the odor of some cleaning solutions that might linger in the open, we recommend a fast-evaporating alcohol-based cleaner. So what are the details? MOVISI HUSH acoustic panels are 12 mm-thick and meant to be wall-mounted with the included 4 mm-thick magnets. What results is a buffering zone between wall and panel, key for its acoustic properties. The magnet system, of course, also facilitates flexible use: It’s a lark to remove the panels to use as seating and re-adhere them as needed.

Cradle to Cradle

The Cradle to Cradle® principle describes how products are broken down into their raw materials after use and returned to a life cycle. All ingredients are harmless to nature and waste is avoided. ArchiISONIC Felt was awarded bronze overall, with the areas of water stewardship and material reutilization rated gold.

SCS Recycled Content

We are the only manufacturer on the market that can track our material throughout the entire production process. The independent institute SCS confirms that the ArchiSONIC Felt material consists of at least 60% recycled PET, which we obtain from water bottles. This means that we can recycle up to 88 plastic bottles per square meter of material used.

LEED v4

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system is currently the most widely used green building rating system in the world. LEED provides the framework for healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings.

The sample was supplied as being representative of the manufactured product, and it has been tested in accordance with the relevant ISO 16000, EN 16516 and CDPH 01350 testing standards (See test report no. 392-2019-00296601_H_EN_02). The test result of the tested product indicate that the product qualifies for LEED v4 specifications on VOC emissions by complying with:

VOC emission specifications in LEED EQ credit "Low-emitting-products":

• the requirements of CDPH-IAQ (California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Standard Method v1.2-2017 (worst case relative to v1.0-2010)); and a TVOC below 0.5 mg/m3 in both office and class rooms.

Ecobau „eco1“

The Swiss ecobau label aims to provide architects with reliable information about environmental impacts. The certificate confirms an ecologically sound building product and covers significant environmental impacts. It qualifies the products for use in "Minergie" building projects. ArchiSONIC Felt has received the highest rating of "eco 1".

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)

ArchiSONIC Felt stands for a building material that improves well-being in interior spaces. The central aspect is not only acoustics, but also clean ambient air. Our material has been tested for both French and Californian regulations and has been awarded the highest standard.

The architecture industry is increasingly specifying products with transparent LCA-based environmental impact reports (EPD). We are proud to transparently and objectively disclose what our material is made of and how it impacts the environment over its lifecycle.

Declare is a nutritional label for building products. It is designed to help specifiers quickly find products that meet their project requirements. Declare labels indicate all intentionally added ingredients and residues at 100 ppm (0.01%) or greater by weight in the final product. Floating wall shelves: The supports remain invisible. You can mount the shelf modules on the wall by using special wall fixations, which are obtainable from Movisi. When mounting to the wall, you will need to insert the screws into the back of your U-CUBE modules. 

 U-CUBE is waterproof and antibacterial, making it the perfect piece of furniture for your kitchen or bathroom.
